writing from the mouth
of the wound.
poetry about girlhood, identity, grief & surviving softly.

Girlhood is Like Godhood
girlhood is like godhood in that everyone doubts you until they need something.
Too Much
the problem was people who came to me with small hands and blamed me for what they couldn't hold.
On Crying in Secret
I learned to cry quietly so no one would ask.
On Being Believed
sometimes healing starts the moment somebody finally says: I believe you.
I Remain
I remain. after all of it. I remain.
"I am still half agony. that is the truth. but also — half hope."
writing for the girls
who learned softness
the hard way.
Diverse Writes is a digital archive of girlhood, grief, healing, identity, loneliness, and survival. I write from the mouth of the wound — for the daughters of absent fathers, for the girls who survived quietly, for everyone who has ever felt like too much.
"I write so that girls in the dark feel less alone."
Honest Voice
Unfiltered, raw, and true to the wound it came from.
